- Cold Aeon -

Cold Aeon is one of my oldest projects. The base was already created during the recording of UDOM's demo tape (one of the many versions of 'Symphony II - Absence Of Life'). The reason why this project has been dormant for such a long time is because several months after experimenting with the sounds/style of 'Cold Aeon', i discovered the great doom-band 'Esoteric'. The similarities between 'Cold Aeon' and 'Esoteric' were stunning : we had the same guitar sound (thick multi-layered, almost ambient sounding flanger-guitars) and the same atmosphere. Although i liked this new style i discovered, i never continued this project, knowing there was already a band out there which sounded so similar, kind of ruined the experience. But there are many differences also, especially when it comes to the 'feeling' or the 'motivation' behind the music, 'Esoteric' and 'Cold Aeon' differ alot. So the project is back, now Tom (Sundarium) joined as guitar-player and we're working on the first album.

A split CD with 'The Sad Sun' is planned, which will feature two Cold Aeon Tracks.
