Founded in November 2001. A mix between drone-doom and ambient with a touch of funeral doom and industrial. This results in long and heavy distorted drone-scapes, mixed with ambient-sounding ethereal guitars and violins. Ocassionally some industrial drum-tracks enter the mix. The first album 'Aeons Of Dreams', released in june 2002, was album of the month at doom-metal.com during november 2002. FOTGWO's second album was released in april 2003 and shows a less minimalistic approach to ambient/funeral drones : next to the drones there are now some organs, vocals and ambient-sounding piano interludes.
The 3rd FOTGWO release is part of the 'Interludium' series and offers a long and slightly different version of the mesmerising 'Emptiness', this time titled 'Inritus'.
